João Charréu is a communications professional with experience in public relations, media relations, and crisis communications. He began his career in communications as an intern journalist at the weekly newspaper Expresso, covering current affairs, technology, and international conflicts. He later moved into communications consulting, working with clients in the energy, banking, technology, insurance, and social impact sectors. In 2025, he joined H/Advisors CV&A as a Consultant, advising organizations in the public, financial, and energy sectors.

He holds a BA in Philosophy and an MA in Political Science from the University of Minho, and a postgraduate degree in Journalism from NOVA University Lisbon.
