Sónia Simões

Sónia Simões joined H/Advisors CV&A as Director of Public and Media Relations in 2024, bringing over 20 years of experience in communication. She began her career as a journalist with Correio da Manhã and went on to work with 24Horas, Diário de Notícias, and ultimately Observador—Portugal’s leading digital media outlet—where she spent nearly a decade as a Senior Reporter.

Following her transition into Institutional Communication, Sónia has advised clients across various sectors, such as Energy, with a strong emphasis on media relations and consultancy. She has also built significant expertise in Crisis Management.

An award-winning journalist and published author, Sónia holds a degree in Journalism, a postgraduate qualification in Criminology and, then, a Law degree from the Faculty of Law, University of Lisbon.
